Street Lighting

At Mega Electrical NW Ltd. we have a dedicated Street Lighting division; we have a fleet of vehicles including Cherry pickers and HIAB Wagons and are registered with the Highways Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) and the LRQA as a NERS accredited Independent Connection Provider, enabling us to provide a full street lighting service.

We pride ourselves on our vast knowledge and experience within the streetlighting sector and have the capacity and capability to deliver a range of solutions. We have a wealth of experience delivering projects across the public lighting sector; highways, local authorities, new developments and wider electrical systems including sports facilities, retail parks and public events.

We have been operating within the street lighting industry for over 20 years; successfully installing, repairing, upgrading and maintaining street furniture. We also undertake other works including structural testing, cable tracing and circuit identification works for highways agencies, civil engineering companies, housing developers, airports, rail, hospitals and private clients. Our ongoing range of services crosses the spectrum of all lighting works, from the provision and installation of road lighting and signs for major highway maintenance contracts to small individual projects and local maintenance works.

We provide customers with experienced project managers and site operatives trained to the requirements set out by the Highways Electrical Agency in line the National Highway Sector Scheme 8 (NHSS8).

In addition to HERS and NERS certifications, we are registered with the NICEIC, hold Constructionline Gold, Alcumus Safecontractor and ISO9001 accreditation.
